How to Get Started

  1. Download and launch the TIAA Direct® Mobile Banking app. Or, visit tiaadirect.com from your mobile device.
  2. Log into the app. Enter the same User ID and Password you use to access your accounts online.
  3. Select the plus symbol (+) to make a transfer, pay bills, or deposit a check. Select Locations to see nearby ATMs. Or, select More to review our current rates.

    Can I manage all of my accounts with mobile banking?

    At this time we have two different apps.

    Use the TIAA app to manage your retirement accounts.

    For banking, use the TIAA Direct app to manage the following accounts:

    • Interest Checking
    • High Yield Savings
    • Money Market Account
    • Certificate of Deposit
  • Can I manage all of my accounts with mobile banking?
  • What if my mobile device is lost or stolen?

    First of all, we're very sorry this happened and please rest assured that our mobile banking app does not store any of your personal account information so your TIAA Direct bank information is protected.

    We recommend that you call your carrier immediately to report the incident but there's no need to report it to us.

    Once your mobile device is replaced, you can install the app and log in using the same User ID and Password you use online.
